Europa Bhowmik Biography 
Europa Bhowmik is a young and 19-year old female body builder from Bengal. She has reached spotlight in the recent times, for her amazing dedication and hard work towards the sport. Europa won a silver medal in the Lightweight category at the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2017, and since then she has been in news. Her videos and photos are viral over social media and internet, and this single win at a very young age has shot her to instant fame. For Europa Bhowmik, body is her temple, and she is the youngest female bodybuilder of the country.
Europa Bhowmik recalls that it was the emotional stress that fueled her transformation. It all started when she was bullied at school. Her friends bullied her stating that she is short and not attractive, which put a lot of emotional pressure on her. At around her puberty period, she felt the hormonal changes, which made her chubby. She felt insecure. As suggested by her mother, she joined a gym, and gave a lot of importance to controlled diet. But when she started dieting she turned anorexic. One of the gym trainers helped her at this point of time. He instructed her how to take balanced diet and also started exercises on strength machine, which suited her the best.
In 2015, she began national level competition at a show in Belgaum, Karnataka. She was trained by Indranil Maity. She never looked back after that. During off seasons she eats a lot of carbohydrates, and then controls it, whenever it is required. But she keeps protein quota constant. She is a fan of oats meal, and doesn’t love bread too much. She is a fan of meat, not just chicken, but loves to try different types. Now she is the youngest Indian woman bodybuilder to win a medal in national bodybuilding championship.
