Dr. Mahesh Sharma Biography

Born on September 30, 1959 in Manethi, District Alwar, Rajasthan State in the family of Late. Sh. Kailash Chand Sharma and Smt. Lalita Devi he has been settled in NOIDA, UP. Dr Mahesh Sharma is a Physician by profession. He completed his Medical degree from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He is married to Dr. Uma Sharma and parent of one son and a daughter. 

Dr. Mahesh Sharma has been follower of Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh since his very childhood. Dr. Mahesh Sharma was was also associated with All India Student Federartion the ABVP during his student career and later joined Bharatiya Janata Party as an active member. At present he is an member of Lok Sabha since 2014.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma has been actively participating and managed last eight elections of Lok Sabha and State Assemblies in his home district Gautam Budh Nagar. He was elected an M.L.A. from Noida Legislative Assembly Constituency Gautam Budh Nagar of Uttar Pradesh in March, 2012. He was later elected as Member of Parliament from Gautam Budh Nagar Parliamentary Constituency, Uttar Pradesh during general elections in May, 2014. Dr. Mahesh Sharma is at present Minister of State of Culture and Tourism having an independent charge and Civil Aviation, also a member of State Working Committee of Uttar Pradesh State Unit.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma is an Honorary Doctorate from Amity University, NOIDA. He has been awarded with Business Sphere Award for the year 2009-2010 by Dr Farooq Abdullah & Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘Nisank’ titled Best Super Specialty Hospital for the Masses. He has also been presented with more than 200 National & International awards from different fields especially in the field of Social work and health awareness program.

He is a recipient of India Gandhi Appreciation Award in 2006 from National Medical Forum. He won the coveted Delhi Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Award in 2004-05 for his contribution.His other awards include- 1- Noida Management Association Award to Kailash Group of Hospital.2- UP State IMA Award 3- Giant’s International Award .4- Delhi Medical Association Award .5- Lion’s Club Award.6- Rotary International Award7- UP State IMA Award in 1989.
