Dipti Sharma Biography

Dipti Sharma is an Indian fashion model and beauty pageant finalist from Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. She is an international model who has worked with many leading brands outside the country. She is the first Indian model to appear in the ad campaign of Balenciaga, and she became a part of their campaign in Balenciaga's S/S 2018 show. She has been a part of Elite Model Management (New York, Los Angeles), New Madison (Paris), Women Management (Milan) and Premier Model Management (London), associated with ramp walk and campaigns. She is currently one of the most successful young models of the country.

Dipti Sharma was born on 23 October 1994 in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. She started modelling career at a very young age. She contested in Campus Princess 2015 beauty pageant while she was studying English graduation at Panjab University. She became a finalist and won the title of 'Miss Rampwalk’. It was her first major contest in her modelling journey. Later she participated in Elite Model Look India contest in 2015, and won the title. After that she shot to instant fame, and also won many Indian and international modelling assignments.

Same year she represented India at international Elite Model Look contest and was unplaced. She has been featured in magazines such as Crash, Vogue India and Harper's Bazaar Russia. She is currently based in New York. She was a ramp model at the Spring/Summer 2018 show for Paris Fashion Week. Notions of beauty are changing and now models belonging to third world are also slowly gaining attention and recognition in international fashion scene. In her opinion she was a rebel right from her childhood days. In fact she went against the wishes of her parents to join modelling industry.
