Dipannita Sharma Biography

Dipannita Sharma is a supermodel and an actress of Bollywood. She debut Bollywood with 16 December in 2002 opposite Milind Soman and this thriller was a hit too. She was nominated at Zee and Screen awards Best Female Debut Award also. Another noted performance is for the hit movie, Ladies Vs Ricky Behl for which she won her second nomination at Zee awards in the best supporting actor female category (2012). She has also appeared in supporting roles in Jodi breakers, Assambhav, Koi Aap Sa, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and My Brother... Nikhiland most of these movies proved to be commercial successful too except Assambhav, Koi Aap Sa and Jodi breakers. Her upcoming project is Angrezi Main Desi.

 

Dipannita has a shinning modelling career and she has been a super model too. She has also anchored many television shows like Har dil jo love karega for Zoom Tv, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week for Star World and MTV making the cut for MTV. She has also appeared as contestant in Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi and television serial Piya Kay Ghar Jana Hai.

 

Dipannita is an Assamese born on 2 November 1976 in Duliajan. She came into the limelight when she reached the top five of the Miss India 1998 contest. She also won Miss Photogenic for the same contest. Later she walked in many ramp shows for many Indian and international events. She was the worldwide face of the press campaign for Breguet watches & jewellery for 5 years. She has been the popular face for many skin care brands in India such as garnier, Nivea & Dettol soap. She played lead role in a show called Life Nahi Hai Laddoo before debuting through December 16. She is married to Delhi entrepreneur Dilsher Singh Atwal, a businessman.
