Diana Hayden Biography

Diana Hayden is a former Indian model and international beauty pageant winner. She won the most prestigious Miss World title in 1997. She is the third Indian woman to achieve this title, three years after Aishwarya Rai won it. She was the runner-up at Femina Miss India 1997 contest thus claiming the title of Miss India World, and represented India at Miss World Contest at Baie Lazare, Seychelles.

She also won "Miss World - Asia and Oceania" title and Miss Photogenic and Spectacular Swimwear subtitles, thus becoming the only contestant in Miss World Contest ever to win all these four titles in a year. Apart from several modelling assignments, she has also been associated with charity activities. Unlike other beauty queens from India, Diana never joined films, and thus is an exception. She has been associated with activities to spread awareness about cancer and HIV/AIDS. She published one book A Beautiful Guide in 2012, after working on it for two years.

Diana Hayden was born in Hyderabad, Telangana on 1 May 1973. She belongs to an Anglo-Indian Christian background. She worked for an event management company called Encore, before joining modelling industry. In fact she had a late entry to modelling field, and was crowned Miss India World at the age of 23. She represented India at the 47th edition of the Miss World pageant held in Baie Lazare, Seychelles, and emerged as the winner among 86 delegates. She also won three prestigious titles in the competition, which was indeed a unique achievement. She got married to Collin Dick from Las Vegas in 2013, and has two daughters born in 2016 and 2018.
