Dhilin Mehta Biography 
Dhilin Mehta is a successful film producer of Bollywood. He currently serves as the chief executive officer of Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, Bollywood film production company. He started his career with small budget films like Fun2shh and Agnipankh and now Ashtavinayak Cine Vision is one of the leading filmmakers of Bollywood. The production company produced the successful Golmaal series with Ajay Devgan – Golmal, Golmaal returns, Golmaal 3 and the producers have announced its 4th installment as well. Dhilin Mehta produced 100 crore budget ‘Blue’ in 2009, which was the highest expensive Bollywood movie till then. The movie bombed at box office and couldn’t recover its expenses in the domestic market. Bol Bachchan (2012) is the latest release which was a huge box office hit. Debaang, Rock star, Jab we met and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? are other major hits of Mehta as a film producer.
Mehta was born in Mumbai on 14 March 1974. Dhilin started off his career as a producer with Doordarshan serials in the early 2000s. He produced the popular television series – Amrapali for Doordarshan in 2002. As a film producer, he started off with small budget movies like Shararat, Fun2shh and Agnipankh, though they were commercial failures. Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005) was his first hit as a film producer. The movie witnessed the first time pairing of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and the movie was the first hit of Katrina’s career as well.
Dhilin heads Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd and the first major hit of this production house was Jab we met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, another romantic couple of his production ventures after Salman Khan- Katrina Kaif starrer Maine pyar kyon kiya. The production house has announced Golmaal 4. Luck and Blue are the major failures of his career.
