Dev Negi Biography 
Dev Negi is a sensational young voice associated with Bollywood film music. His latest song Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12 from Judwaa 2 is an instant chartbuster. Butterfly from Jab Harry Met Sejal, Sweety Tera Drama from Bareilly Ki Barfi, title track of Badri Ki Dulhania and Naach Meri Jaan from Tubelight are Dev Negi’s big hits of this year. Dev has sung many of the hit songs penned by Kumaar, and has worked with music composers, Preetam, Sachin Gupta, Tanishk Bagchi, Chirantan Bhatt, Meet Bros. Anjjan, Krsna Solo and Vivek Kar. His recent hit, song Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12 from Judwaa 2 originally composed by Anu Malik was revived by Sandeep Shirodkar.
He hails from Dwarahat of Almora, Uttarakhand. Since childhood days, he was attracted to Bollywood classics sung by Rafi and Kishore. In fact he started learning music listening to their songs. He also performed at school festivals and cultural events. During his younger days, he moved to Jalandhar, Punjab where he completed his schooling and higher education. He continued training in music till he moved to Mumbai in 2010 to pursue a career in music industry. The song Delhi Delhi from the film Zindagi 50 50 (2013) marked his Bollywood debut.
So far he sang various genres in Bollywood, but he love singing romantic songs. In his opinion, every music director has his own style and as a singer he tries to learn from it. His songs, "Badri Ki Dulhania", "Paro" from Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Coffee Peetey Peetey (Gabbar Is Back), Hai Yehi Zindagi (Kick) and "Ho Gaya Hai Pyar" are instant chartbusters. 2017 proved to be a big year for him with back to back hits - title track of Badri Ki Dulhania and Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12 from Judwaa 2, both featuring Varun Dhawan.
