Dayanidhi Azhagiri Biography 
Dhayanidhi Azhagiri is an Indian film producer and distributor. He belongs to the popular political family of Tamil Nadu and hails from Madurai. He celebrates his birthday on 27th September. He owns the Cloud Nine Movies banner and has distributed many films under that banner.
The former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi is his grandfather. His father’s name is M.K. Azhagiri and his mother’s name is Kanthi Azhagiri. He has two sisters. He studied at the College of Engineering at Guindy. He was in love with his childhood sweetheart Anusha and married her on 18th November 2010 with the consent of his parents. Anusha has completed the bachelor’s degree in law and is an advocate.
Dhayanidhi is also called as Dhaya and Durai and he holds 50% of the shares in Cable MSO-JAK communications that provides services in the areas of Chennai and Thiruvallur districts. His father is a politician and the cabinet minister in the Central Government of India.
Some of the films that he has produced are Thamizh Padam, Thoonga Nagaram, Mankatha and Ethiri En 3. Some of the films that he has distributed are Vaaranam Aayiram, Paiyaa, Naan Mahaan Alla, RAttha Sarrithiram, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and Vaanam. He received ITFA Best Movie Award and Best Producer Award for the film Mankatha.
He is said to have his hand in the illegal granite mining scam of Rs. 16,000 crore. So his bank accounts have been frozen and legal steps were taken against him. The Immigration Department is searching for him and the Madurai district court has issued non-bailable warrant against him.
