Dayana Erappa is a very successful Indian model and Miss. India 2016 finalist, who stormed into social media platform through the pictures she posted over net. This popular model is to mark her film debut with Mani Ratnam’s most awaited Tamil film ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ this year. In an ensemble star cast including some of the leading Tamil stars - Arvind Swami, Jyothika, Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana Erappa will be playing one among the lead female roles. The film shooting was completed on 2 June 2018 at Serbia. This model has made it to the coveted cover of the Kingfisher Calendar 2017.

This successful model was one among the contestants in Miss India 2016 competition who reached finals. She has already done modelling photo shoots for top brands like Kingfisher. She is currently into modelling field and is keen on accepting film projects. She marks her film debut with Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil film ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’. Since the news has come out, Dayana remained in spotlight for playing one of the pivot roles in the film.

She has modeled for leading Indian fashion designers such as Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani and Anita Dongre. She is an established model and has walked the ramp at many international fashion weeks including the Milan Fashion Week, and is one of the leading names of India’s fashion and modelling world. Dayana hails from Coorg, Karnataka. She did her schooling in Kodagu Vidyalaya, Madikeri and graduated from Baldwin’s Methodist College. As she was interested in modelling field, she did many fashion shows since then. She has appeared in Femina Contest 2011, Splash Fashion Show in Dubai, Fashion Week in Colombo, and has also done a few Ramp shows in different Middle East countries.
