Daler Mehndi Biography 
Daler Mehndi is the king of Indian Punjabi pop music known as Bhangra and he is the most successful Punjabi artist of India. Among all pop singers of India, Daler Mehndi’s name is taken first and all his musical albums have broken many records and most of those wonderful records still remain history. Many times he has broken his own album selling records. He became immensely popular with his album – Bolo tara ra ra. This particular song was the first hit song of Daler Mehndi and till now, this song remains the best. His other popular album tracks include – Har taraf tera jalwa, Ek tana, Ho gayi tere belle belle and Tunak tunak ta ra ra and all these album songs are top chartbusters too. He popularized bhangra and it’s through Daler Mehndi that whole India hear Punjabi songs more. His younger brother Mika Singh is also a popular pop singer and playback singer. Apart from albums, Daler Mehndi has sung for a few Hindi movies as well.
Among his popular Bollywood songs – Nachle nana nachle of Lakeer (Hindi version of Taniye of Rhythm), Aila re aila of Khatta meetta, Gurbaani of Bhaag Mika bhaag, Title track of rang de basanthi, Zor ka jhatka of action replay are big hit numbers. He has been featured along with Amitabh Bachchan for the track ‘Sade naal … na na na nare’ of Mrityu daata’. He has also acted in a few songs like – Nach baby naach kudi of Khauff and Kudiyan shahar diya of Arjun Pandit. His other hit songs include – Chamke jawani of Yamla pagla diwana, Halla bol of Dan dana dan goal, Rangeeli raat of Money hai to honey hai, Title song of Dulha mil gaya, Tu makka di roti of Black and white, Sing raja of Joker, Hum to hai of Kya super cool hai hum and Balal utta chakka of Victory.
His popular albums are - Bolo Ta Ra Ra (1995), Dardi Rab Rab (1996), Tunak Tunak Tun (1998), Ho Jayegi Balle Balle (1997), Ek Dana (2000), Nach Ni Shaam Kaure(2002), Mojaan Laen Do (2003) and Shaa Ra Ra Ra (2004).
