Cyrus Pallonji Mistry Biography 
Cyrus Pallonji Mistry born on July 4 1968 in the family of Pallonji Mistry is a Mumbai based businessman. The Mistrys Belong to the Parsi Community of Mumbai, traditionally rich and a business community. Pallonji Mistry, father of Cyrus had married an Irish lady so Cyrus after attending Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai went to London for completing his higher education in England. He recieved his civil engineering degree from Imperial College, London and a master’s degree in management from the London Business School.
In 1991 Cyrus took entry in family business and became director of Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd, the flagship company of the group. The elder brother, Shapoor was in charge of real-estate business of the group, and Pallonji was himself was on the helm of affairs as chairman of the board of directors. Pallonji Mistry was also on the board of the Tata Group, another Mumbai-based company under the chairmanship of Ratan Tata. Cyrus became chairman of Tata Group on 28 December 2012. Cyrus Mistry the chairman of Tata Group, with more than one hundred companies in the group including Corus Group, a major European steel producer and Jaguar Land Rover car.
Incidentally, he is an Irish citizen and a permanent resident of India. Cyrus Mistry has an Irish passport as his mother who is an Irish citizen and lives in Ireland. One of the two sisters of Cyrus Mistry is married to Noel Tata the half brother of Ratan Tata who happens to be one of the prominent executives in the Tata Group. Cyrus Mistry was married to Roshiqa Chagla, the daughter of Iqbal Chagla, the famous lawyer and granddaughter of jurist M.C. Chagla in the year 1992. His elder brother Sapoor is married to Behroz Sethna.
