Chandan Shetty Biography 
Chandan Shetty is a music composer, singer, rapper and lyricist associated with Kannada film industry. He took part in the 5th season of Bigg Boss Kannada in 2017 as a participant, and was declared the winner. He began his career as a lyricist and assistant music director with the movie Alemari in the year, 2012. He worked as an assistant music director under Thaman, Arjun Janya and many more composers in the industry, before he turned an independent music composer with the film, Sanjeeva in 2017. Ganchali, Seizer and Appuge are other movies for which he worked as a music composer in Kannada film industry. He has also released a few private albums.
His full name is Chandan Paramesh Shetty. He is shortly called CS. He was born on 17 September 1989 at Shanthigrama, Hassan, Karnataka. He was born into a business family. Yet Chandan pursued a career in music. His school and college education were completed at Sakleshpur, Puttur and Mysore. After graduation, he worked in a call centre for some time. Apart from singing, he also plays a few musical instruments. Before he turned a full-fledged music composer, he also served as Guitarist and Drummer. He penned lyrics for more than 50 movies, and worked as a playback singer too.
He joined as an assistant composer to Arjun Janya in Kannada music industry in the year 2012. Same year he marked his debut as a lyricist too. Yet it took a few years for Chandan to compose music for his first film project in 2017. But he was fully active in the industry as a playback singer and lyricist. After winning 5th season of Bigg Boss Kannada in 2017, he turned a celebrity. He won prize money of rupees 50 lakh from the show.
