C.P. Gurnani Biography 
C. P. Gurnani born on December 19, 1958 in Neemuch of Madhya Pradesh, is a BTech graduate from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela in chemical engineering. C. P. Gurnani now lives in Noida with his wife Anita and have two children. CP spent his early life in Chittorgarh, Kota, and Jaipur in Rajasthan. C. P. Gurnani popularly known as CP is CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra from Dec 19, 2014. He is credited for the role he played in transformation of Mahindra Satyam and spearheaded the company’s eventual merger with Tech Mahindra.
C. P. Gurnani has a vast experience of international business development especially at start-up level and turnarounds of the sick and weaker industries. He also has a worked for joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and that helped CP in leading Tech Mahindra and he was able to contribute to the company's present strategy and philosophy. C. P. Gurnani has in fact an inimitable style of leadership and his emphasis on customer care that helped Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra emerge as the leading force in their respective fields namely IT Services and Telecom Solutions to the world telecom ecosystem.
C. P. Gurnani has been in the field of leading the companies for last 32 years. He has held important posts with Perot Systems (India) Limited, HCL Hewlett Packard Limited and HCL Corporation Ltd. CP has many awards to his credit including, Ernst and Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year, India Business Leader of the Year by CNBC Asia and Dataquest ‘IT person of the Year’ year 2013. CP won the 'CEO of the Year' Award, 2014 by Business Standard. CP Has many other awards to his name that he won during his long career in the Indian corporate world.
