Bullet Prakash Biography

Bullet Prakash is a comedy actor turned producer from Kannada cinema. He is also a politician belonging to BJP since 2015. Quite a familiar face of Kannada cinema, he has appeared in character roles in more than 325 films, predominantly in comic ones. He used to ride the motorbike, Royal Enfield Bullet and thus he got nicknamed as Bullet Prakash. He also participated in the second season of the reality show – Bigg Boss in Kannada. He entered Big Boss house as a wildcard entry, in week 8. He is quite active in the film scene as a filmmaker and actor right now.

Mast Maja Maadi, Aithalakkadi and Mallikarjuna are among his most popular roles and he was most recently seen in the films - Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole, Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna, Bheeshma, Mr. Airavata, Ganga, Bettanagere, Luv U Alia, Mr. Airavata etc. Apart from Kannada films he has also acted in Tulu films. V Ravichandran, Sudeep, Darshan, Sadhu Kokila etc are among the leading actors with whom Bullet Prakash has worked with. He appeared in a guest role along with Srinagar Kitty and Vaijanath Biradar in the Tulu film – Soombe in 2015.

He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka in 1976. He is associated with Kannada movies since early 2000s. Partha (2003), Omkara (2004) and Ambi (2006) are among his early appearances. On February 2016, he registered a complaint against Dinakar Thoogudeepa, son of veteran Kannada actor Thoogudeepa Srinivas at Amruthalli Police station stating that the director has given him a life treat after inviting him to home. Bullet Prakash had a plan to produce a film with Dinakar’s younger brother Darshan.

In 2015 he joined Bharateeya Janata party in the presence of former deputy chief minister R. Ashok. His mother Gowramma had been associated with the party as its worker for over 25 years. Yet the actor fully focused on cinema till 2015, and now he wants to become active in political scene too.
