Bruna Abdulla is a Bollywood actress who has appeared in hit Bollywood movies like I hate love stories and Grand Masti. She is a model and Brazilian actress who works in Indian movies at present. She is better known for her role as Giselle in Punit Malhotra's I Hate Luv Storys, released in 2010. She has done an item song - Rehem Kare for Anubhav Sinha’s Cash and "Subha Hone Na De" for Desi boyz. She has also starred in Tamil movie, Billa 2 for which she won Kalakar Awards for the Best International Youth Icon Award. Her upcoming Bollywood movie is Jai ho, that’s scheduled to release next year.
Bruna Abdullah’s real name is Bruna Abdulah and she was born on October 24, 1986 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Now she resides at Mumbai, busy with Indian projects. She was born as the second child of Brazilian Portuguese and Arab Brazilian parents in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her entry to Bollywood was just destiny. She came to India as a tourist and when one agency approached her with a project, she approved it thinking about a small pocket money. Later its success prompted her to accept a few more assignments and finally shifted to Mumbai to pursue a career in Bollywood and fashion industry.
Her first noted screen appearance was for the music video, Mere Gham Ke Dayare Mein of the debut album of Shekhar Suman. Her first Bollywood appearance was an item number for the movie Cash, released in 2007. She participated in the reality TV Shows like Dancing Queen and Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 on Colors TV, hosted by Akshay Kumar. Now she is a participant of Nach Baliye 6 on Star Plus where she pairs alongside boyfriend Omar Farooque.
