Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak Biography

Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak is an Indian journalist from The Times of India who belongs to the state of Odisha. But he gained immense popularity and fame for his physical strength and countless records he created in his name. Nayak has remained in the limelight for the past few years. As of July 2018, he holds seven Guinness World Records and 12 Limca Book Records in physical strength. He dreams aims to have 72 records to his name. He is fondly called the Bruce Lee of Navi Mumbai, for his excellence in martial arts and record breaking accolades he earned in the past few years.

 

Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak was born in the year 1965 in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. He currently works as a journalist, and works as a teacher too, in martial arts. He teaches under privileged children too. Three of his students hold records in the Limca Book of Records. Nayak is a strict vegetarian and consumes only pulses and sprouts. He has been given an honorary title of Singh and a turban by the Gurudwara where he attempted a record in January, 2017.

 

He holds the world record for most concrete slabs broken over the groin with a sledgehammer (3). He holds the Guinness records for the most number of Squats in one minute, one-legged martial arts kicks in one minute and double alternate squat thrusts in one minute. His fictional biography has been written by English novelist Stephen Kelman and the book has been titled as Man on Fire. Bibhuti has once suffered a brain hemorrhage and spent three days in a coma after doing a risky act.
