Bhoomika Dash Biography

Bhoomika Dash is a young film actress associated with Odia cinema. She started off with child roles and later moved to heroine roles. She is also a trained classical dancer. In 2014 she started her career as a child artist through the movie, Rumku Jhumana and later appeared in Gapa Hele Bi Sata. In 2017 she played her first lead role in Tu Mo Love Story at the age of 14, and since then plays heroine kind of roles. Hero No.1 and Nayakara Na Devdas are other releases later. She is a promising young actress of Telugu cinema, who has already won multiple awards for her performances.

Bhoomika Dash was born on January 22, 2003 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. She studies at D.A.V Public School, Bhubaneswar. She is a trained dancer, who marked her film debut as a child artist at the age of 12. Her debut film as a child artist, Rumku Jhumana bagged her Odisha State Film Award and Tarang Cine Awards as best child artist. She shared screen space with Harihar Mohapatra for the movie. In 2017 she played the adult role for the first time in the movie, Tu Mo Love Story. The film over all received positive reviews, and her lead role was also well appreciated. All the songs were chartbusters.

The movie was shot in scenic and breathtaking locations. The film was directed by Tapas Saragharia, and Bhoomika played lead role opposite Swaraj Barik in this Odia drama. This impressive debut earned her Tarang Cine Awards - Star of Tomorrow and Chalachitra Jagat - Best Newcomer in 2018. Her latest release is Nayakara Na Devdas (2018). She is a brilliant student in academics, and even while busy with her professional career, she took 97% marks in her secondary exams.
