Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao Biography 
Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao is an ace filmmaker associated with Telugu film industry. He is known as a producer, director, screenwriter and also an actor in the film industry. As a film director he is best known for his successful movies like Subhamastu, Subhakankshalu, Suswagatam and Suryavamsam. He turned a successful film producer through 2002 romantic film, Nee Thodu Kavali. In 2011 he made his acting debut with Kudirithe Cup Coffee directed by Ramana Salva. He marked his directorial debut in 2015 and till now has done 12 films. Most of his film names start with English alphabet, S.
Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao was born in Tathapudi village, Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. He was born into a farmer's family. His school education was done at different villages and did his college education in Chilakaluripet. He started his film career as an assistant cinematographer in 1985. He worked under T. Krishna for Vande Mataram, Devalayam, Repati Pourulu etc as an assistant. After spending one decade in the industry as an assistant, he received his first full-fledged film through Subhamastu in 1995. Since then he has worked in many Tamil movies remade from other south Indian languages.
Subhakankshalu, Suswagatam, Suryavamsam (Telugu), Suprabhatam, Swapnalokam, Nee Thodu Kavali, Dongodu, Annavaram, Sudigadu, Speedunnodu etc are his works later. He is mostly associated with commercial films, tagged as mass entertainers. With year 2002 he started producing films in Tamil. But he produced a single movie only - Nee Thodu Kavali and it was a huge hit. Kudirithe Cup Coffee in 2011 and Friends Book in 2012 are the couple of films in which he acted.
