Bhavya Gandhi Biography

Bhavya Gandhi is an Indian actor who frequently appears in Hindi TV soaps and sitcoms. He shot to instant fame playing the supporting role of Tipendra Gada in the popular comedy sitcom - Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, aired on SAB TV. He left the show in February 2017, and his character for the show was later replaced by Raj Anadkat. He played the role from 2008 to 2017 for nearly 10 years. His character was commonly known as Tappu in the show, and he played the son of its lead characters, Jethalal Gada and Daya Jethalal Gada. His role as Tappu has earned him numerous television awards in a child role.

 

Bhavya Gandhi hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He belongs to a Gujarati family. He started his acting career as a child actor in 2008 with the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah playing the son of the lead pair. As he grew up with years, his character also grew up and he quit the show after 9 years in 2017. In 2010 he also starred as younger version of Suryakant in the sports film, Striker. As an adult he started his film career in Gujarati cinema in 2017 and has acted in three movies - Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaay, Baap Kamaal Dikro Dhamaal and Bau Naa Vichaar.

 

This talented young actor aspires to become a director one day. He also wants to develop a physique like Bollywood actor and model John Abraham. He is the cousin of actress Samay Shah, who played the role of his friend Gurucharan Singh Sodhi in the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He won Most Popular Child Artist (Male) at Indian Telly awards in 2010 and many more honours. His favourite actor is Varun Dhawan.
