Bhavna Vyas Biography

Bhavna Vyas is a screenwriter associated with Hindi television. She has co-scripted a few Hindi movies too. "Siya Ke Ram" & “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” are among her popular shows as a screenwriter, story writer and dialogue writer. Bhavna started her career as Creative head with an Event Management company "VISION FORCE" in 2003, and later joined television industry. During her early days, she worked as an assistant story writer in the industry. In 2015 she shared Best Writer prize at Star Guild Awards with Munisha Rajpal for her work of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”.

Bhavna Vyas hails from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and was born in the year 1983 to Vishu Dutt Vyas and Prabha Vyas. She has four elder siblings. After completing her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalya, Bhopal, she enrolled at Institute for excellence in higher education, Bhopal. She graduated in Management studies. Later she joined "VISION FORCE” in 2003, marking her professional career beginning. In 2005 she quit her Event Management job to try her luck in film industry as a writer.

She wanted to join film industry, and got her first break through comedy serial Lokallo Baat. The show was aired on SAB TV. She also wrote Comedy Ghunta, a comedy show on ZEE Smile. After that she got opportunity to write a few more shows. She joined fictional writing as an assistant director, and has worked for Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Naaginn, Rakhi, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna etc. Later she wrote the story of Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, Yeh Ishq Haaye etc, followed by the screenplays of Siya Ke Ram, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo etc.
