Bhavna Ruparel Biography

Bhavna Ruparel is an Indian film actress who works in Bollywood and south Indian films. She appears in Telugu movies down south. She hails from Mumbai and is the younger sister of actress Pooja Ruparel. Bhavna started her career as a child artist in the early 2000s, and later moved on to adult roles. She played female lead in Bollywood comedy film, Chal Pichchur Banate Hain, and was also seen in Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Joggers' Park as a child artist. She marked her south Indian debut with the Telugu film, Sukumarudu in 2013, where she played lead role.

She was born in 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She marked her acting debut as a child artist in the year 2002, with the movie, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, co-staring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan. She also appeared in Bollywood movie, Jogger’s Park released the same year. She was seen as a teenager in both these films. Then she took a break from the industry to complete her studies, and did her first adult role in 2002. She played female lead opposite Rahil Tandon in Pritish Chakraborty’s comedy film, Chal Pichchur Banate Hain. The movie had a low key release and went unnoticed. The movie mostly received negative reviews.

Very soon she moved to south, and did her first south Indian film, Sukumarudu in 2013. She played one of the two female leads in this Telugu film. She shared screen space with Aadi and Nisha Aggarwal for this flick, which was not a major hit. This romantic family entertainer movie was directed by G. Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame. After the movie’s release, she took a break from acting.
