Bharathwaj Biography 
Bharathwaj is a popular music director and playback singer of Tamil movies. He has also composed music for a few Telugu and Malayalam films. He has given numerous memorable songs to Tamil music lovers, both fast and slow tracks since 1990’s. He has given exceptionally well melodious tracks like Unnai Paartha Pinbu Naan of Kaadal Mannan, pictured on Ajith, "Unnodu Vaazha" pictured on Ajith and Shalini and Gnyabagam Varudae and Ovvoru Pookalume of 2004 movie, Autograph. Gnyabagam Varudae, pictured on Cheran was sung by himself while Chitra did playback singing for Ovvoru Pookalume, which earned her National award for best playback singer. He has also given chartbuster tracks like O! Podu..O! Podu for Vikram starrer Gemini. Vasool Raja MBBS, Parthen Rasithen, Jay Jay, Amarkalam, Attagasam, Pandavar Bhoomi, Ayya, Thirupathi, Aasal and Roja Koottam are other popular movies with top songs of Bharathwaj.
His native place is Ravanasamudram of Thirunelveli district. He was brought up in Delhi as his father’s job was there. His full education was completed at Delhi itself. He studied in a school of Tamilians in Delhi. So he learned Carnatic music at the Delhi University and also studied Hindustani music. He had keen interest in music since childhood days. He once got opportunity to perform in All India Radio, Delhi. As he was not allowed to pick up song from any record, he wrote lyrics, composed music and performed as an artist as well. He also won first prize for the competition, which brought out his talent as a music director and lyricist as well.
In the early years, he was a chartered accountant by profession. But very soon he identified that music was in his blood. When he decided to take music as his full-fledged career, he moved to Chennai. He got married in 1988. But very soon he decided to quit his accountant job to take music as his profession. He got full support from his family and thus joined music industry. He lived alone in Chennai for 2 years in search of opportunities. He struggled for about 7 years to earn fame as a music director and got popularity with late 1990’s.
