Bharani (actor) Biography

Bharani is an actor associated with Tamil cinema, best known for his role in the film Naadodigal. He played a strong supporting role in the film starring Sasikumar, Ananya and Vijay Vasanth. Currently he is in limelight after he became one of the 15 contestants of the reality show on Star Vijay, Bigg Boss Tamil season 1, hosted by Kamal Hassan. Since the show has been aired on television network, it has received high TRP, and all the celebrities associated with the show have received attention from public.

Bharani’s real name is Aaruyir Sagodharan, and he is a native of Paramakudi, Madhurai, Ramanathapuram. He was born on 21 June 1986. He spent his early days in Madhurai itself, where he completed his education.

It has been 10 years since Bharani is in the industry. He was first seen in 2007 teenager’s love story, Kalloori. He was seen in a comic role in the film. Later he waited for a couple of years, till Naadodigal happened to him. After the huge success of the film, Naadodigal tag got added to his name. His role as Pandi was well appreciated, and he earned success for the first time. Though he has appeared in lesser number of movies in the past 10 years, his roles in Thoonga Nagaram, Kannakol and Vetrivel were well received.

In 2017, he appeared in three Tamil films – Pottu, Kannakol and Panam Pathinnonum Seiyum before Bigg Boss happened to him. The show was started on June 25th 2017 and now the top show on Tamil television network. The game show, ‘Achcham Thavir’ on Vijay TV was his first stint with television. He invited controversies for the conflicts with fellow contestants of the show. In Bigg Boss show too, his  conflict with Ganja Karuppu was the highlight of the first episode of the show.
