Bhakhtiyar Irani Biography

Bhakhtiyar Irani is a film and television actor. He works in Hindi and Parsee movies also. Irani is the younger brother of TV and film actress Delnaaz Irani and ex brother-in-law of actor Rajiv Paul. His wife is Bollywood actress cum model, Tanaaz Irani. As a Bollywood actor, he appeared in character roles in movies like Karzzzz where he reprised the role of Dr. Dayal, played by Jalal Agha in the original. He has also appeared as an extra dancer in the song Koi mil gaya of Kuch kuch hota hai. He has also appeared in several reality shows like Big Boss, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout and Nach baliye. He also appeared in Bigg Boss season 6 as a guest.

 

Irani was born on 19 November 1979 in Mumbai. He holds a graduation degree from Rutgers University. He met Tanaaz Irani in the sets of Fame Gurukul. Though they fell in love for each other, it was opposed by the family as Irani is seven years younger to Tanaaz. Tanaaz was a divorcee and a mother of a child too. But later they were able to convince the family with the help of his older sister Delnaaz Irani and his elder brother Paurus Irani and the marriage happened in 2007. In 2008, a boy was born to them. Bhakhtiyar Irani and his wife have together participated in reality dance series Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss in 2009. He worked with his sister Delnaaz in Yes Boss, where they played siblings on small screen.

 

In the celebrity dance show, Nach baliye, the pair surprised everyone and stood third in the contest. Now Irani along with his wife has started a dance academy in Dubai – TEE and BEE. Irani has also made television appearance in Miley Jab Hum Tum, Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi ki and Maa Exchange.
