Bellary M. Raghavendra Biography 
Bellary M. Raghavendra is a Carnatic vocalist from Bellary, Karnataka. He belongs to a family with centuries old Carnatic tradition with the most recent 5 generations is collectively called - 'Vishesha Parampara' which spans over 130 years. Noted vocalist Vani Sateesh is his youngest sister and Raghavendra is credited to spotting her talent at a young age and giving her music lessons since then. His father Bellary. M. Venkateshachar and his paternal uncle Bellary M Sheshagiri Achar are together known as Bellary Brothers. His uncle M Sheshagiri Achar has created 400 kritis.
Bellary M. Raghavendra was born in Hospet, Bellary into a family of Carnatic musicians with generations old tradition. Like other members he too inherited music from the senior members of the family. His great grandfather Mundarigi Narasimhachar a prominent Haridasa of Karnataka. His grandfather Mundarigi Raghavendrachar was a musician and professor of music. His father Bellary. M. Venkateshachar is a carnatic classical vocalist and his paternal uncle Bellary M Sheshagiri Achar was a Vaggeyakara, and the duo then known as Bellary Brothers then earned a niche of their own in the field of classical music. Obviously music was in his blood stream and he carried forward the same musical tradition.
Her paternal uncle Bellary M. Sheshagiri Achar was his first guru. He continued learning music under his father. Giving his first concert at the age of 9, later he regularly performed in music festivals and concerts and has also produced several musical shows for television. He is also a renowned muisc teacher training numerous students. He also runs a trust, Vishesha Fine Arts with guidance of many artists including his sister Vani Sateesh. An annual event called Vishesha Utsava is also conducted every year.
