Baby Esther Biography

Esther Anil, better known as Baby Esther is a child actress of Malayalam who shot to fame after doing the role of Anu George, Mohanlal’s younger daughter in the biggest grosser of Malayalam – Dhrishyam released in 2013. This beautiful young girl stole everyone’s heart through her splendid acting and wonderful facial expressions. In a short career span, she has worked with both the mega actors of Malayalam industry. Her real name is Esther Anil and known by her screen name – Baby Esther. Though she has debut in the film industry in 2010 and has portrayed a few roles, it was Dhrishyam which made her a child star overnight.


Esther Anil was born on August 27, 2001 in Wayanad district of Malabar, Kerala. She was born to Anil Abraham and Manju Anil. Her parents are running a Homestay business, Buena Vista in their hometown. She has two younger brothers. She currently studies in 8th standard at De Paul Public School in Kalpetta. Her aunt Bonny Mol was the first runner up in a reality show - Best Citizen Journalist. Bonny wanted her sister to appear in a cookery show on Malayalam television – Taste of Kerala. When the team reached her home to shoot for the show, they happened to watch Esther playing with her younger siblings. It was the camera man Biju Pazavila who saw the acting potential in young Easter.

 
With the consent of her parents, Biju introduced her to R. Vivek, a freelance photographer who made her portfolio free of cost. She made her film debut through Nallavan in 2010 and later appeared in movies like Violin, Jameela, Doctor Love, Mullassery Madhavan Kutty, Mallu Singh, Oru naal varum, Omega Exe, August Club, Sakudumbam Shyamala, Cocktail, Metro, Oru Yathrayil, Njanum Ente Familiyum, Kunjandente Kada, and finally Dhrishyam.
