Babbu Maan Biography 
Babbu Maan is a singer, lyricist, music director, actor and film producer of Punjabi cinema. He recorded his first album Sajjan Rumaal De Geya in 1998. His first official debut album Tu Meri Miss India, released in 1999 which became an instant hit in India as well as abroad. In 2001, Maan released his third album Saaun Di Jhadi. In 2003, he made his singing debut in Bollywood with the movie Hawayein, for which he penned its lyrics as well. He has also debut as an actor with this movie in which he did a supporting role. Though the movie was not released in India, it was a hit overseas. At present he resides in Mohali.
Babbu’s birth name is Tejinder Singh Maan and he is also known by the names, Khantwala Maan, Khantiya and Maana Da Maan. Though Maan recorded his first album Sajjan Rumaal De Geya in 1998, he was unhappy over his work. He later reworked on the same musical bits and released them in subsequent albums thereafter. His first official debut album Tu Meri Miss India, released in 1999, followed by Saaun Di Jhadi in 2001. A few of its hit tracks include - Saaun Di Jhadi, Raat Guzarlayi, Dil Ta Pagal Hai, Chan Chanani, Ishq, Kabza and Touch Wood.
In 2003, he debut Bollywood as an actor, singer and composer with Hawayein. His fourth album Ohi Chann Ohi Rataan was released in 2004, followed by Pyaas in 2005. The popular song Mittran Di Chhatri belongs to the instant hit album Pyaas. Maan released his first Hindi album entitled Mera Gham in 2007 and his first devotional album was released two years later, titled Singh Better Than King. His latest reelase is Talaash: In Search Of Soul, released in the year 2013.
