Ayush Anand Biography

Ayush Anand is a popular television actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. Ishqbaaaz, Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh, Piyaji, Balika Vadhu etc are some of his popular small screen appearances. He joined television industry in 2013 and has appeared in half a dozen of TV shows till now. He currently plays the role of Inspector Shekhar Malhotra in Vish — A Poisonous Story aired on Colors TV since 2019. He has been a stage actor before joining television industry.  He played protagonist in 'Perfect Pati'. He became famous through his negative role in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji.

 

Ayush Anand hails from New Delhi. His younger days were spent in hometown where he completed his schooling and graduation. He completed the schooling from Springdales Public School New Delhi. He later completed BBA from the Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Information Technology, New Delhi. He started doing part time job during his college days, and involved with theatre those days. He worked in the Tanzil Theatre Group for three years, and has also participated in street plays along with his friends.

 

Jodha Akbar in 2013 marked his TV debut, followed by Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, Balika Vadhu, Ishqbaaaz, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, Perfect Pati and Vish — A Poisonous Story. He mostly plays supporting roles. He played lead role on the show 'Perfect Pati' during 2018—19. He has been in relationship with model Vishaka Bharadwaj. Most recently he admitted that he has been a victim of the casting couch. He unabashedly admitted how he has been propositioned by casting directors and even threatened when he refused to give in. It was during his early audition days in Mumbai, when he had witnessed such unpleasant situations.
