Asees Kaur Biography 
Asees Kaur is a young and successful playback singer associated with Bollywood. After participating in various singing reality shows on Indian television, she marked her playback singing debut with "Dildara Reprise" from Tamanchey. "Bolna" from Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921) is one among her most popular Hindi song. "Beat It Bijuriya" from Munna Michael, Baarish (Revised) from Half Girlfriend, "Rang Reza" of Beiimaan Love, "Tenu Na Bol Pawaan (Reprise)" from Behen Hogi Teri, "Tukda Tukda" from Mirza Juuliet, "Bandeyaa (Reprise)" from Jazba, "Ikk Kudi (Reprise)” from Udta Punjab, Tu Banja Gali Benaras Ki (Reprise) from Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, "Bhangda Pa" from Flying Jatt, "Main Kamli Ho" from Agar Tum Saat Ho etc are among her popular songs. She has also been a part of several private albums.
Asees Kaur hails from Panipat, Haryana. She was born on 26 September 1988. She started singing at the age of 5 and received encouragement from her father. Persuaded by her father, she learnt the Gurbani, and was a self-learner. As she grew up, she decided to take up singing professionally. She took formal training in music from Ustad Puran Shahkoti from Jalandhar. When she released her version of Gurbani, she received positive response from its listeners. She started singing Gurbani at various events.
Asees participated in a Punjabi reality show, "Awaz Punjab Di", followed by Indian Idol 6, through which she earned initial recognition nationwide. Very soon, many of her tracks received good response from listeners. Apart from several singles, she recorded a couple of duets with the popular singer, Krsna Solo. She won Upcoming Female Vocalist of The Year award at Mirchi Music Awards 2016 for the song, Bolna from Kapoor & Sons. "Rang Reza" of Beiimaan Love also earned her a nomination in the same category.
