Arun Pandian Biography 
C. Arunpandian is an Indian film actor and politician who has also directed and produced some films. He started his career as an actor and became one of the chief producers of Tamil film industry. After entering into production field he retired from acting.
He was born on 13th July 1958 in Palayamkottai in Tamil Nadu. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree. He married Vijaya Pandiyan and has three children. He is interested in playing billiards and is the President of Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association and Vice President of All India Billiards and Snooker Association. He lives in Mylapore in Chennai.
He started his film career in the year 1986 through the famous film Oomai Vizhigal. Later he started the film production and distribution company named Ayngaran International. He joined Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam and contested in the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly election from Peravurani in 2011 and won and became a Member of Legislative Assembly.
Some of his films include Chidambara Rahasiyam, Oomai Vizhigal, Inaidha Kaigal, Kottai Vasal, Asuran, Aavathum Pennale Azhivathum Pennale, Roja Malare, Kadavul, Aasai Thambi, Rishi, Kaatrukenna Veli, Devan, Vikadan, Thirupathi, Kovai Brothers, Virudhagiri, etc.
