Arthana Binu Biography 
Arthana Binu is a south Indian film actress from Thiruvananthapuram, who has worked in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films till now. She is the daughter of actor Vijayakumar, best known for films like Kottappurathe Koottukudumbam in the 1990s. Her first film as an actress was 2016 Telugu movie, Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu and in the same year her first Malayalam movie Mudhugauv got released. Thondan, Semma and Kadaikutty Singam are her released movies later. Currently she is working on Tamil movie, Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2.
Arthana Binu was born in 22 February 1997 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Her father, actor Vijayakumar and mother Binu are legally separated, and the she has one sister. She completed graduation in mass communication and journalism from Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvanathapuram. She started her professional career through T.V channels at the grade of 11th. She hosted the game show, Smart show on Flowers television channel. She co-hosted the show aside veteran Sreekandan Nair.
She started modelling while doing her graduation, and got offer for a Telugu film during her second year. She played female lead opposite Raj Tarun for the Telugu romantic comedy film, Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu. Later she marked her Malayalam debut opposite Suresh Gopi’s son, Gokul Suresh through the movie, Mudhugauv.
Binu began her Tamil Film Industry by Thondan which was directed by Samuthirakani, with Vikranth, Samuthirakani and Sunaina in lead roles. Her first hit film was Thondan, her Tamil debut film. Arthana plays a rural girl in the role of Magizhini in Seema, which GV Prakash in the lead. But the first Tamil film she signed was Semma, which got released later in 2018. Her film performance she got positive reviews, and earned her next film in Tamil. In fact movie director Pandiraj gave her the film offer after watching the hit film.
