Arjun Nandhakumar Biography

Arjun Nandhakumar is a Malayalam film actor of present day cinema, known for supporting roles. Made his debut in 2012 with Casanovva directed by Rosshan Andrrews, he has appeared in around 20 films as of now. He is a former model, and also a dental doctor by profession. He played Jayasurya’s best friend in critically acclaimed Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. His role of Mark Roshan in Mohanlal-starrer Grand Master was also well-received. In 2016, he appeared in two commercial hits – Oppam starring Mohanlal, where he played the supporting role of Ravi, and in his second release, Oru Mugham, he received a much more meaty role of Aravindan, a negative character which earned him recognition.

Arjun Nandhakumar hails from Chennithala of Alappuzha district. He was born on 13 December 1986. His schooling was completed at Mannar, Alappuzha and later he pursued BDS Dentistry at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. He also worked as a part-time model before his entry to films in the year 2012. He got opportunity to work with Mohanlal in his debut film, Casanovva in 2012. However the film was a major flop at box office. He played the role of Kiran in the film.

Later he played noted supporting roles in Grandmaster, Radio Jockey, 8:20, Medulla Oblongata, Dolphins, Jamna Pyari Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam, Oppam, Ore Mugham and Marupadi. Masterpiece is his upcoming release. The actor is known for leaving a mark in the roles he played, even if they are less significant.

Apart from acting cricket is also Arjun’s passion and he is a key player of Kerala Strikers which participates in Celebrity Cricket League. Though he is currently receiving films in lead roles, he is focused on choosing performance oriented films. In 2016 he has been a part of two thrillers back to back and both were box office hits too.
