Arjun Gupta Biography 
Arjun Gupta is an entrepreneur, executive and the Founder and Managing Director of a venture capital firm, TeleSoft Partners. This special situations venture capital firm was founded in 1996. He founded AG Family Foundation in 2001 to support community projects, which has funded for more than 90 projects up to date. For the years 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009, his name was ranked among the Top-100 Technology Venture Investors by the top international business magazine, Forbes. He is a naturalized American citizen since January 19, 1999. He has been a board member of several non-profit business organizations as well. He has completed 5 decades in the industry which includes Arjun’s successes, failures and struggles.
Arjun Gupta was born in 1960. He has attended Harvard Business School Executive Management Program. His attitude to put faith in just ordinary things is the real success mantra behind this entrepreneur and Telesoft partners that has completed 18 long years in Indian business sector. TeleSoft provides value-added capital for technology, communications and energy value chain companies. In the past 18 years, he has invested money and helped to build more than 60 companies. His ventures also include 37 mergers & acquisitions and IPOs. Its current market equity value equivalent to a mammoth $17 billion! Forbes Magazine ranked Arjun in the Top-100 technology venture investors for 4 consecutive years in Midas lists since 2006.
His parents parted when he was only 11 and later, he along his siblings spent their life at boarding schools. He was interested in science since school days. Though he was not an athlete during his school days, he got opportunity to climb 15,000-foot peak. It gathered him a lot of self-confidence and later Arjun has done several expeditions later. He learned the mountaineering skills of focus, endurance, calculated risk and teamwork through these adventures which later helped him to cut a path of his own.
