Arjumman Mughal Biography

Arjumman Mughal is a successful actress and model from Kashmir. She made her film debut in the year 2014 with the Bollywood film, Ya Rab, a controversial movie based on terrorism in Kashmir. She played the female lead, Amreen in the movie, opposite Vikram Singh. The movie was directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala and also starred Ajaz Khan, Raju Kher, Vikram Singh and Imran Hasnee. Arjumman started her modelling career while at school and has appeared in over 1000 ads, a successful model at present times. In 2012 Arjumman got an international women achievement award as a popular model.

 

Arjumman was born on 1 January 1990 in Rajouri, Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir. Her father was an army officer while her mother is a homemaker. She spent her childhood at Jammu itself where she completed her schooling. Later she moved to Mumbai at the age of 14 to pursue a career in the field of modelling. Her modelling career started when she was very young while studying at school. She was selected as child model for clothing, and she continued modelling. She also got associated with theater during her teens even while she was busy in modelling. She appeared in ad films and TV ads since the age of 14.

 

Very soon she turned a successful model and started receiving film offers. She was even willing to do south Indian movies and attended an audition for a Tamil film, when she got the offer to play a Muslim Kashmiri girl. Surprisingly she delivered a few Tamil dialogues for audition, the same dialogues which she used for the screen test of her previous Tamil film audition. The cameraman present there was a Tamilian and she got through. She made her film debut with 2014 Bollywood film, Ya Rab, where she played the role of an innocent Muslim orphan loved by everyone.
