Archana Jois is a film actress associated with Kannada cinema. She shot to fame with 2018 blockbuster Kannada film, K.G.F: Chapter 1, where she played the role of Yash’s young mother. Her character as a poor woman who gives good lessons to her child was really touching and earned her a lot of appreciation. K.G.F: Chapter 1 is her first break to silver screen, where she played an important role. She is also a television actress who started up with small roles and later graduated to meaty roles on small screen.

Archana Jois hails from Bangalore, Karnataka. She was born on 28 January 1988. She was brought up in the same city where she completed her education. She remained active in acting and performed in different activities throughout her school and college days. Later she decided to take acting as full-time profession. She started her career with small screen after a lot of attempts and managed to get brief roles initially. She played the central character Sundari in the TV series, Mahadevi aired on Zee Kannada. Her lead character is an atheist in the show which is a revenge drama. She also acted in the series called Durga on Star Suvarna Channel.

She got the big break to silver screen through K.G.F: Chapter 1 directed by Prasanth Neel, playing the young mother role who faces a lot of hardships in her life. Interestingly though Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead in the film opposite Yash, she gets lesser screen space comparing with Archana who played the mother role. Music and dance are her hobbies.
