Apoorva Arora Biography

Apoorva Arora is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in south Indian cinema. She has been featured in several ads of which ‘Perk’ commercial is popular. In 2015 she played female lead in the Kannada film – Siddhartha. This romantic flick marked the acting debut of Vinay Rajkumar, the grandson of the most celebrated actor of Kannada cinema – Rajkumar. The movie was a hit and since then she is a top actress of Kannada film industry. In 2012 she has played a small role in Bollywood film starring Akshay Kumar - OMG: Oh My God! She played the role of Paresh Rawal’s daughter Jigna in this highly praised film. She shared screen space for one more Akshay Kumar film - Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) and both these movies were commercial hits.

She was born in New Delhi on 5 June 1996. She received her first break to films at the age of 13. Bollywood film - Bubble Gum released in 2011 marked her acting debut as a child artist. The highly praised film was one among the best listed movies of 2011. After that she regularly featured in several ads and her ‘Perk’ ad made her a familiar face among TV audiences. In between she plays cameo roles in Bollywood movies - OMG: Oh My God!, Dekh Tamasha Dekh, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty etc to name a few.

Apart from Hindi and Kannada language movies, she has also acted in Punjabi and Gujarati movies too. She was seen in the Punjabi film - Disco Singh released in 2014. Sathiyo chaalyo khodaldham is her recent release. With the success of Siddhartha, she has become a busy actress down the south.
