Anusha Dandekar is an Indian Video Jockey, actress and singer. Her sister Shibani Dandekar is also a singer, anchor and model who participates in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5. Anusha’s Bollywood movies include - Mumbai Matinee, Lalbaug Parel, Delhi belly, Virudh, Anthony Kaun Hai and City of Gold. She appears in supporting roles in movies. She has also served as the brand ambassador of many leading Indian brands like MTV Style Clothing, Tuscan Verve, Reebok and Lee Jeans. Currently she is the brand ambassador of MTV Style Clothing since 2002. Better than your EX in 2012 marked her International Debut Single.

Anusha was born on 9 January 1981 in Omdurman, Sudan. She has two sisters of whom Shibani Dandekar is a noted anchor and model. Her family originally belongs to Pune and hence she is a Maharastrian. She grew up in Kingsgrove, Sydney. She moved to Mumbai in 2002. She is a very popular television host of MTV till then. MTV House of Style, MTV Dance Crew, MTV Teen Diva and MTV News are her popular programs as a television host. She won Best VJ at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards in 2009.

She debut Bollywood with Mumbai Matinee in 2003 followed by Virudh, Family comes first. Anusha starred as an ambitious dancer in the musical Miss Bollywood. Her role in Virudh won her best Debut award at the Maharashtra Times Awards. Her role as Rosa in Anthony Kaun Hai? is another noted work. She debut Marathi film industry with the movie ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Maaza’ in 2012. As a model, she has been featured in many popular fashion magazines like Cosmopolitian, Elle and Seventeen. She won Femina’s 50 Most Beautiful Women award in 2012 and recently has been part of the "India’s Most Beautiful" list for People Magazine.
