Anurag Anand Biography

Anurag Anand is an Indian writer and marketing professional. He writes on fiction as well as historic fiction works and has already published 8 books. Pillars of Success (2004) are Corporate Mantras (2007) are his non-fiction works. Tic Toc – A tale of love, hate and terror (2009), The Quest for Nothing (2010), Reality Bites (2011), The Legend of Amrapali (2012), Of Tattoos and Taboos (2009) and Of Tattoos and Taboos (2009) are his published fiction works.

Anurag was born in 1978 in Patna to Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh and Mrs. Champa Singh. From childhood days, he was addicted to comic books and gradually developed as his interest to write. His primary education was done at Kurseong of Darjeeling. Later he completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi in 1996. He studied in a boarding school and he treasures those memories a lot. He completed graduation in Economics from Delhi University. In 2002, he completed Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi. He has been associated with the Delhi based NGO, UNES while at college. Anand delivered lectures on aspects of personality development to school students across the country and his first published book - Pillars of Success was a summary of those lectures he conducted nationwide. His works are generally categorized under self-help, general fiction and historical fiction genres.

Now Anurag is known as a corporate professional as well as an author of bestselling books. Anurag holds a deep association with media as well and has been invited to several television shows. He also participates in discussion over FM channels of Indian radio. Anurag Anand lives in Mumbai with his wife Neeru and daughter Naisha. Neeru works in a Multinational Pharmaceutical company in Mumbai.
