Anupama Raag Biography 
Anupama Raag is a bureaucrat, singer and music composer from Lucknow. She has been trained in Hindustanu classical music at Ustad Gulshan Bharti of Lucknow gharana, and Yogendra Bhat of Gwalior gharana. She made her Bollywood debut as a playback singer in 2011 with the song "Shalu ke thumke", for the movie Bin Bulaye Barati. She has rendered her voice for the movies - Zila Ghaziabad, Miley Naa Miley Hum, Gulab Gang etc. She has released one album with Mika Singh titled Laal Dupatta, and one single with Rahet Fateh Ali Khan - "Saware" in 2017. She composed these songs as well. She has composed a single for the movie Daas Dev titled "Azaad Kar". She recorded a duet with madhuri Dixit in Gulab Gang.
Anupama Raag’s birthday falls on May 5 and she is a Taurus. Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh is her hometown. She schooled from Loreto Convent, Lucknow. Later she studied music at Bhatkhande Music Institute. She also received training in Hindustani music in two different gharanas from gurus, Ustad Gulshan Bharti and Yogendra Bhat before she pursued a career in the field of music. She has established as a successful singer and music composer, and has worked with several leading music artists of the industry. She has also composed and released many singles, which she sang with leading playback singers of Bollywood. Most of her songs have been well received by music lovers.
She entered Bollywood film scene in 2011, recording her first song, "Shalu ke thumke", for the movie Bin Bulaye Barati. Perhaps her most memorable experience is Gulab Gang, where she got opportunity to sing Rangi Saari Gulabi aside Madhuri Dixit. Her father is a retired IPS officer and she has two sisters. Lata Mangeshkar is her favourite female singer, and she also likes Mika Singh and Rahet Fateh Ali Khan. She is married to Anurag and a child was born in 2008.
