Anuj Gurwara Biography 
Anuj Gurwara is a noted playback singer of south Indian movies. "Panchadara Bomma" from blockbuster hit Magadheera is his most popular song. This particular song earned him numerous awards including Filmfare, Big 92.7FM Music Awards and CineMAA Awards. He is also known as a lyricist, actor, voice-over artist, radio jockey and television show host. He made his singing debut in Hindi movies, through the movie Makkhi for which he wrote a couple of songs and dialogues as well. Makkhi is the dubbed version of the super hit Telugu film Eaga. He has also acted in movies like Hyderabad Blues 2, Maryada Ramanna and Anand.
Anuj’s parents are educationists and run a school, Sherwood Public School at Hyderabad. Anuj graduated in Psychology and Advertising from Nizam College, Hyderabad. From school days, he participated in arts and music. Anuj started his career working as a copywriter and content developer for various design firms and advertising agencies. Then he worked for a short while in theatre and later decided to join entertainment industry.
Though he didn’t know Telugu, he debut playback singing through Telugu movie. "Panchadara Bomma", for the Telugu film, Magadheera was his biggest break to the industry and after that, he didn’t look back. Even its film director later told that it’s the most beautiful song of his career. This single song generated more than 30 million rupees as revenue through mobile ringtone, the highest record for a Telugu song till now. This song earned him first Filmfare trophy too.
Anuj has performed live in many live concerts and is an RJ, actor and MC. He has hosted many events successfully. He has also been active in theater since 1999. He has worked for a radio station for the program Radio Biryani also. Anuj has been awarded Best RJ (Hindi) for his show, Naach Meri Jaan. He has worked for Radio City 91.1 FM in 2006.
