Antara Mali Biography 
Antara Mali is an Indian actress who concentrates on Bollywood films. She was born on 11th May 1979 in Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh. His father is Jagdish Mali and he is a photographer. Her mother was an actress in theater shows. Her grandfather Shantanu Mali is a painter. Though she is an actor originally, she has also moved to directing.
Her debut movie Dhoondte Reh Jaoge is a flop. Not much people are aware of this movie. Then she acted in the movie Dum Dum Diga Diga. This movie was never completed. She worked with Ram Gopal Varma in few movies. The first movie that she worked with him was Prem Katha in the year 1999. She discontinued acting after her film Mr Ya Miss. She wrote the script and directed this movie. This movie was received poorly.
In the movie Company by Ram Gopal Varma, she played a complex and deep character. She could be said as the actress with great talents. She impressed Amitabh Bachchan that he called and congratulated her personally. She paid tribute to Madhuri Dixit by her role in the movie Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon.
She has acted in some films like Prema Kadha, Mast, Khiladi 420, Company, Road, Darna Mana Hai, Gayab, Naach, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Mr Ya Miss and And Once Again. She directed the film Mr Ya Miss in the year 2005. She was nominated for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress award for her film Company.
She acted in the film Gulaal by Anurag Kashyap and with Abhishek Bachchan in the film Naach. In Mr Ya Miss she acted with Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh. She has Om tattoo on her arm.
