Antara Banerjee Biography 
Antara Banerjee is an Indian television actress who appears in Bollywood movies and Hindi TV shows. She got the break through Bollywood comedy film, The Shaukeens in which she played a supporting role. TV series Gumrah: End of Innocence earned her recognition on small screen. She has learnt classical singer and has appeared on stage as a performer too. She is currently seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Suman Shekhar Sharma. &TV shows such as Laal Ishq and Badho Bahu and episodic show, Savdhaan India aired on Life OK are her other noted works on small screen.
Antara Banerjee was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. Subrata and Atasi Banerjee are her parents. She dreamed to become an actress and to pursue her dreams, she moved to Mumbai in 2013. She completed her graduation in English through a correspondence course. She also took Bachelor in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan College, Mumbai. She is a trained Kathak dancer and a classical vocalist too. She trained Kathak for long 15 years. Before moving Mumbai, she has performed on stage as a classical dancer and singer.
She was first seen in a Bollywood film, The Shaukeens, and later played lead role in Yeh Hain India. Before that she started her career in television industry. She first appeared in an episode of Gumrah: End of Innocence on Channel V, followed by Savdhaan India on Life OK. Her roles in TV soaps - Laal Ishq and Badho Bahu also got noticed. She played negative lead in Badho Bahu, and this character is inspired by Poo played by Kareena Kapoor Khan for Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum. She has been a part of a few Tv ads and print ads.
