Ankita Sharma Biography 
Ankita Sharma is a noted television actress. Lead female character, Nimrit Malik, in Life OK's serial Amrit Manthan made her a household name. She has also appeared in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo opposite Abhishek Rawat and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai opposite Barun Sobti. She played the lead role Preeto in 2011-2012 daily soap, Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto opposite Aditya Redij in NDTV Imagine. She is popular with simple and next door girl looks in television serials. She is a trained singer and dancer who has done a certified course in Delhi.
Sharma was born on 7th February 1987 in Delhi. The family migrated to Mumbai in 2010, for the movie, Alah Udhal. Ankita saw acting as a passion only and she never intended to come to small screen in the role of an actress. Her father wanted her to become a choreographer and open a dance institute of her own. She signed the movie, long before she debuted television. She has also appeared as an extra dancer in the song, Chand Sifarish of the movie Fanaa (2006). The movie, Alha Udhal was shot in a historical background and yet to release. She debut small screen in the year 2009 with the serial, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo where she played the role of Ratna Singh opposite Abhishek Rawat. Then she got the lead role in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai opposite Barun Sobti.
She formed a successful chemistry with her co-star Barun Sobti and together they have appeared in Boogie Woogie and Indian Idol as celebrities. She along with Barun Sobti appeared on the shows to promote the television serial. She appeared in the grand finale of Indian Idol 5 on the 15th August 2010.
