Ankit Gera Biography

Ankit Gera is a popular television actor of Hindi soaps, who has played both lead roles and supporting roles. Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke – aired on ZEE Network is one of his popular work, where he played the male lead of Mayank Prabhu Garg. Gera also came to limelight when he participated in the latest edition of Bigg Boss in 2015. Unfortunately he got evicted in the first episode itself. Currently he is seen in the fantasy series - Maharakshak: Devi, where he portrays the negative shaded role of Bhasmasur. He shared screen space with Umang Jain, Indraneil Sengupta and Rohit Bakshi for the television series.

He was born in Delhi in 1987. He started his television career in the year 2009 with Mahi Way on Sony TV, where he appeared in a supporting role of Nikhil. He was also seen in the role of Adarsh Saxena in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. It was a pivot role in the series and very soon Ankit bagged his first role as a lead actor through Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. Owing to his chocolate boy looks and super hit shows, he has been a popular hero in 2012. But later he failed to get roles in television.

His relationship with two actresses at the same time - Roopal Tyagi and Adaa Khan also surfaced later, which gave a bad impression. He was blamed for cheating by both actresses and was even slapped by Roopal Tyagi. After a break he was seen in the 2015 series - Maharakshak: Devi, and also a short stint in Bigg Boss. Confessed as a health freak, Ankit considers Soccer to be the first love of his life. Then only acting follows.
