Ankit Bathla Biography

Ankit Bathla is a popular television actor of Hindi entertainment industry, known for portraying supporting roles. His noted roles include - Ayush Parekh in Hamari Saass Leela and Madhav in the show Beta Hi Chahiye. Currently he is seen in the television series, Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors TV essaying the role of Dhruv. A successful model, he has also appeared in the television commercials of Bharti Airtel and Maruti Suzuki Ritz and many more. In 2013, he made his Bollywood debut through the film - Club 60. It was the last release of veteran actor, Farooq Sheikh.

Ankit was born in New Delhi in 1988. He schooled at St. Mark's Senior Secondary Public School, Meera Bagh and graduated from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. He started his professional career as a trainer with American Express, before he moved to acting. He also had a short stint in corporate sector at a multinational credit card company at Gurgaon. He was the youngest manager at the company then and he worked the night shift. Though he had a descend income, he quit the job to pursue a career in acting.

Sammaan Ek Adhikaar on Doordarshan marked his career debut as an actor, where he played a negative role. Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer in ZEE TV in 2012 was his first noted appearance, where he played the role of Abhigyan. Since then he portrayed numerous character roles on mini screen. Some of his noted appearances include - Halla Bol, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai, Love By Chance, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, Beta Hi Chahiye, Hum, haar Jeet etc. He played the role of Vibhishana in Sony TV’s mythological series - Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman. He has also appeared in many TV ads.
