Anirudh Dave Biography

Anirudh Dave is a young television actor who made his small screen debut through NDTV Imagine’s Raajkumar Aaryyan, where he played the male lead. Lakhiya in Phulwa, Rajveer in Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Indu singh in Ruk Jana Nahi and Devan in Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki are other noted roles. He has also acted in a Bollywood movie, Tere Sang directed by Satish Kaushik. Anirudh is also known to have and maintain good relationship with his co-stars. He knows to play piano.

His family originally hails from Rajasthan. He was born in 1986 in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. His family moved to Rajasthan where he spent his childhood. Both his parents worked in Jaipur as professors in education department. He has two siblings. His brother Nitin Dave is also in the film industry. Since childhood he wanted to become an actor and hence after graduation, he got involved with theater. Then he moved to Delhi where he got opportunity to work with many renowned theater artists. He became a part of renowned plays like Rashomon, Haye Mera Dil, Man Without Shadow and Jaat Na Pucho Sadhu Vijay Tendulkar. He has also been associated with NSD Delhi as a stage actor. In 2000, he was awarded by Indian president for his acting abilities in the field of theater.

Success in the field of theatre gave him offers to television. He made his debut playing lead role in Raajkumar Aaryyan (2008). After that he has appeared in more than half a dozen television serials. His role as Indu singh in Ruk Jana Nahi became so popular among his fans.
