Anil Panachooran Biography 
Anil Panachooran is a noted Malayalam film lyricist and poet. He is a lawyer by profession. He is intelligent in penning romantic songs for movies. ‘Thirike njan varumenna’ and ‘Chora veena mannil ninnum’ from the 2007 Malayalam film Arabikkatha by Lal Jose marked his successful debut in Malayalam movies, aside its music composer Bijilal. He has also done a bit role in this movie. After that, Anil has become a part of Malayalam film industry for his beautiful and popular lyrics. ‘Vyathyasthanamoru Barbaram Balane’ from the 2007 film Kadha Parayumbol, was another popular song from the same year he debut lyrical world. Same year he received Asianet Film awards for best lyricist for his works of Arabi Katha and Katha parayumbol and quite surprisingly, Sreenivasan was the leading hero of both these movies. In 2009, he won P. Bhashkaran memorial Golden Award.
Anil Panachooran was born in Puthuppally Govinthamuttam in Kayamkulam, Alappuzha. He studied at T. K. Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara and later took Bachelor of Law from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Though he is a lawyer by profession, he depends on poetry for livelihood. His poem `Anathan' was used by filmmaker Jayaraj in his `Makalkku' which was immensely popular. He was inspired by a real life incident for writing its lyrics. He believes that, ‘Art is a by-product of conflict. Poetry is born only from conflict’.
A few of the movies noted for its lyrics include – Nasrani, Crazy Gopalan, Madampi, Daddy cool, Bhramaram, Seniors, Spanish masala, Sevens, Cock tail, Dhrona, Minniminni koottam, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, China town, Shakespeare Malayalam MA, Winter, Loud speaker, Duplicate, Crazy gopalan, Calender, Makante achan, Passenger, Cycle, Thappana, Run baby run and Mulla. Annaraka kanna vaa and Kuzhaloothum poonthennale of Bhramaram, Neeyam thanalinu thaazhe of Cocktail and Kannin vaathil chaarathe of Mulla are the most popular songs of Anil.
