Anasuya Bharadwaj Biography

Anasuya Bharadwaj, better known as Anchor Anasuya is a television presenter, news presenter, anchor and actress, associated with Telugu entertainment industry. She worked as a TV anchor for Sakshi TV, and it brought her instant success and fame. She started off as a news presenter, and later moved to anchoring which she succeeded. She hosted the comedy show, Jabardasth, which shot her to success. She has also worked in Telugu movies like Naaga, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Kshanam, Winner, Gayatri, Rangasthalam etc in supporting roles. F2 - Fun & Frustratio and Yevado Okadu are her upcoming releases.

 

Anasuya was born in Hyderabad, Telangana. She completed her MBA degree in the year 2008. Later she worked in corporate sector as HR for some time. Initially she received many film offers, but she didn’t accept any. But later she started her entertainment career with Sakshi TV. Started off as a news reader, she started hosting TV shows which made her a popular anchor of Telugu television industry. Jabardasth, a comedy show was her first show as a host. The show started in 2013 is still on air, and its popularity groomed her career a lot.

 

Some of the shows she hosted later include – Jackpot, A Date with Anasuya, Bindass, Modern Mahalakshmi, One - No More Silly Games,  She also contested in TV shows like Bhale Chancule, Genes, Naa Show Naa Ishtam, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu etc. She currently hosts the shows - Blockbuster, Jabardasth and Jackpot-2. She often appears as a celebrity guest for TV shows, and has acted as celebrity judge of the reality show, Drama Juniors season 1 and 2 aired on ZEE Telugu. She has also hosted many film and television events, and has also succeeded in the field of comparing.
