Anand Aravindakshan Biography 
Anand Aravindakshan is a successful playback singer associated with south Indian cinema. He predominantly sings Tamil film songs. He was the winner of Airtel Super Singer Season 5 in 2016, and the success through this show shot him to instant fame. He has already done playback singing for more than 10 films by then. After winning the reality show, he received singing offers from different language films. He was the first runner up in the 2007 edition of Gandharva Sangeetham, on Malayalam channel, Kairali TV, and Athiradi Singer 2008 aired on Sun TV. He was the title winner of the 2010 edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge, a reality music show on Zee Tamil.
Anand Aravindakshan was born on 19 November 1989. He is of Kerala origin, and was brought up in Chennai where he did schooling. Since school days he participated in singing competitions winning prizes. He completed commerce at Vivekananda College in Chennai. Then he pursued sound engineering from Soundtech Media School of Sound Engineering and Recording in Pune, followed by an MBA degree. Since mid-2000s he has been regular with reality shows, and became a familiar face among TV viewers of reality singing shows. First one of this kind was Gandharva Sangeetham, on Malayalam channel, Kairali TV in 2007 where he ended up as runner-up.
Anand has also performed on stage for concerts and live events. He has also recorded numerous jingles. He got married to a Bengali girl Paromita Banerjee in 2017. She is her schoolmate. As a playback singer he marked his debut with 2011 film, 180. After winning Airtel Super Singer Season 5 in 2016, he faced controversy as he has already recorded film songs, though a few.
