Anamika Biography 
Anamika is a popular and established female pop singer since 1990’s. Her first private album was titled ‘Catwalk’, which gave her instant recognition. Kaala Shaa Kaala and Kabhi Kartha Hoga Woh mera Intezaar are a couple of songs sung by Anamika, which made her immensely popular in the late 1990’s. She was pictured in those music videos as well. As a versatile singer, she handles with ease pop, classical, qawwali, bhangra, devotional, patriotic, filmy, folk, rap or western. She sings her own rendition of international chartbuster songs as well as Hindi film remixes of classic oldies and popular ones. She sang the popular track of film Auzaar – Are Baba Are Baba (1997).
She is known for her energetic live stage performances in India and abroad as well. She sings both Indian and western and often uniquely blends both. ‘Hai Dil Deewana’ released in 2004 is one of her popular albums with some remixed tracks of old songs like Who hai zara, Disco Deewane and Bahom mein chale aa. Movin’ On is another popular album. Anamika started her musical journey from New York. It began with her own music band.
A few of her noted albums include - Dil Kardaa, Punjabi Virus, Kamaal Ho gaya, MCMXCIV A New Generation, Cocktail, Naina, Anonymous - The Debut Bhangra Album, Innovation etc. She has also been associated with DJ Sanj and Bally Sagoo for some dance numbers and remixed versions. She has also released one album titled, Anamika. She is a trained classical singer and she also turns lyricist for her own composed songs. She claims to be the only artist of Indi-pop who could handle both Punjabi and English. Intezaar, Naina and Cat Walk are her most popular albums.
